Earlier this year, we heard from many of you through our product survey that while the AI’s insights were valuable, they could be even more powerful if they reflected local terminology and institutional rules. The Context Library was built in direct response to that feedback.
What Is the Context Library?
The Context Library is a secure, institution-managed knowledge base where administrators can store custom information such as policies, rules, naming conventions, or other local context. When someone queries the tool, the AI references this information to deliver responses that reflect your institution’s terminology and standards.

How It Works
Access to the Context Library is managed through a dedicated permission line, ensuring that only approved users can add or modify content. However, once configured, the stored information influences AI-generated responses across the entire institution — so everyone benefits from a consistent, context-aware experience.
The library includes:
- A free-form text input, where admins can provide general context or guidance that shapes all AI responses.
- A file upload option, allowing institutions to attach documents such as policies, guidelines, or terminology lists for the AI to reference when generating answers.
All information added to the Context Library is securely stored and automatically factored into AI reasoning whenever it’s relevant to a query — no extra setup or prompt tuning required.
