Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas iOS App requires iOS 17.0 or later.

• Discussion checkpoints display in the grade list and on the assignment details screen.
• Submit button reliably displays on the text submission screen for iOS 26 users.
• Improved stability for iOS 26 users.
• Assignments consistently load across institutions.
• QR code login functions as expected.
• Groups from concluded courses are hidden from the All Courses view.
• Message sending is correctly disabled for concluded courses.
• To-dos for pages and ungraded discussions appear in the syllabus.
• Annotation toolbar remains visible when working with PDF documents.
• App launches properly in offline mode.
• Career: LTI tools supported for courses.
• Career: Notifications screen enhanced for a smoother experience.
