Updated Inline Editor not Functioning At All

When I attempt to target Span Elements, the Inline editor just spins and the page times out. Unable to create messages for specific courses and with 30+ sections, choosing them one at a time in the web editor in inefficient and defeats the purpose of Impact Messages.

Have already confirmed strong and stable internet connection and available RAM to perform operations. The issue is not with my equipment of connection but with the editor itself.

How do we resolve this?

Hi @KristaFrance , that behavior sounds odd, indeed. Can you please submit a support ticket with a screencast to support-impact@instructure.com.

You'll also be happy to hear that course-based message restrictions will be available within the next few weeks. This means you will be able to restrict a message to a course, or group of courses by searching for the course or uploading a CSV of Canvas Course IDs right from within the Inline Editor! If you're interested in participating in the early adopter experience for this new functionality, please let the support team know on your ticket so I can get you added!
