Insights - Canvas Course Activity: Student Monitor Categories

Hi Everyone!

Sorry if this question is dumb, but does anyone know where I can find detailed definitions for the various Monitor Categories (under Tool Adoption) for student adoption rates? (see attached image)

Many of the categories are self-explanatory, or I can infer generally what they are about. But there a number that seem to be a bit ambiguous.

Is there a list of all the Monitor Categories and their definitions somewhere? I couldn't seem to find it.

Hey Mike, I look at this https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Impact-Guides/Where-do-I-find-all-of-my-activity-monitors-in-the-Impact/ta-p/496732 then select the monitors and it will typically give you a screen shot of what triggers the monitor. Hope that helps.

Hi Mike!
If you navigate to Impact Insights > configuration > data management > monitors, you can view (in most cases) a screenshot of the location of that monitor along with details for where this monitor is located within a reporting template.

You can also navigate to Impact Insights > configuration > data management > reporting templates to drill down in each of those categories to see what monitors live inside each.
