Assignments vs Quizzes

I'm trying to explain to some internal folk the difference between the Assignments and Quizzes.

I "think":

• there are four types of classic quizzes (graded quiz, practice quiz, graded survey, ungraded survey)
• assignments index will show graded quizzes and graded surveys  (so there's the linkage)
• however, assignments won't show the other two quiz types

So you could have some quizzes that appear in Assignments table, but others that only appear in the Quiz table.

 

Sound right?

@IanGoh That's right. 

I'll note that there's a similar relationship between Assignments & Discussion Topics. Graded discussions show up as assignments; ungraded discussions do not.
