What id can be used to identify the same user/course through REST API, GraphQL API and LTI Launch?

Hi All,

I have been exploring the IDs returned for users and courses through the various access points to data, and I have so far been unable to understand what IDs I can use to uniquely identify the same user for the results of REST API, GraphQL API and LTI Launch.

Could someone please point me to the right direction?

LTI 1.1 and 1.3 pass custom variables differently iirc. You can see the details of a 1.1 launch in your browser. For a 1.3, you'll have to pass it through a base64 decoder.
