I've uploaded 29 badges, but it's showing 144 badges on the leaderboard?!? Assignments repeating

I have 28 badges that are specific to completing tasks, with one additional badge that is used for multiple assignments.  When I check my leaderboard, it says 144 badges for each student because it appears to be multiplying assignments. Am I reading this incorrectly? Or what do I need to do to stop it from multiplying assignments on the leaderboard? 

The first unit works correctly, after that, as you can see at the bottom of the attached image, it multiplies everything by four.

I see this question has been here a few days without and fellow users jumping in - I'm guessing you have them stumped 😉. As I looked at your issue further it looks like something you will probably want to run by the support team. Please submit this as a support ticket, but I personally want to thank you for checking with this awesome Community of users first!
