Data Services for user accounts being merged

Our LTI Tool needs to be able to react to user accounts being merged but I'm not seeing that there is a Data Services event for this. There is a user_updated (https://vumc-camhl.instructure.com/doc/api/file.data_service_canvas_user.html#user_updated) event but this only shows 3 workflow states (deleted, pre_registered, registered).

Is there a way to be notified if accounts are merged?

We've found that the "deleted" event includes relevant information if a user was deleted as a result of a merge. From this we're able to get the new user id and the old, which should be sufficient for our needs.
