It looks like all due dates in Course Pacing are set to be due at 11:59 pm. Is there a way to set a different time of day for a due date? If not, how do I go about making this a feature request?
Why does the Course Pacing link show up in the student view if Course Summary is checked? The Course Pacing link should only be viewable to the instructor.
For any courses I have created since the beginning of June, course pacing will not work. Either a course with working pacing that was imported, or a new course where I try to create a new pace, it won't work. The first page looks fine, then you click the edit or create the pace and you get a white screen that never loads.
I'm a consultant in the PL&S group, and I'm wondering how to turn on Course Pacing in my own Canvas instance? I've been to this page (https://bit.ly/course-pacing ) for instructions, but I'm not seeing the option to even check the box.
How do I print the pacing guide?
We are a District that uses Blueprints for all our courses and syncing down to child courses at 21 different Sub-accounts. We are open 365 days a year and have rolling enrollment for students, so Course Pacing was a perfect fit. The biggest challenge I ran into is syncing Blackout Days under Course pacing. Even though you…
Hey all, I wanted to share an issue we came across today. In one of our courses with Course Pacing enabled, suddenly our students could not see any pages in it. Like when looking at Modules any pages were just gone when using Student View and for our students. This morning those pages had all been slightly edited. So it…
I can't find that information anywhere. I can't find the feature in my account, and I don't know which is the "institution" responsible for free accounts.
I am using the Course pacing in Canvas this year and when I go in to edit an assignment, whether it is the instructions, the point value, or external tool, it will not save. I have tried to turn off the course pacing setting and then edit it will still not save. Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks!
I work for an asynchronous school that uses course pacing. As with any school, we need scaffolded assignments to ensure that all students can be successful. I thought I could make multiple versions of the same assignment and excuse students from the versions they don't need, but these pages are still visible to all…
It would be nice to be able to just put a Start and End Date and then the course pacing adjust due dates based on those dates...rather than having to sit there and put 1's all throughout.
Students in our Canvas courses get placed in TWO sections - one main section that all students are in and then each students is also placed in a unique secondary section that is created with the bridge from Canvas to our SIS for grades and assignments. Will this cause an issue with Course Pacing? I was planning on only…
I am exploring the possibility of using course pacing for several courses. These courses have multiple sections with anywhere from 10-30 students in a section. Each section starts the course on a different date. From what I have learned about course pacing so far, the course pacing is change per student. Is there a way to…
We are using the course pacing with our Credit Recovery courses that are set up with Mastery Paths. We discovered that if we put the 0's in once the due date passses it takes away the Master Paths option...meaning even if they score high enough to be excused from the next assignment it still keeps the zero in the…
We have a course that uses Mastery Path, that has no connection to course pacing. On the original course (where the TCC File was pulled) course pacing was enabled. When we go change the end date of the course, all students are assigned every assignment. We have course pacing disabled and locked in the main instance of…
