Hi Canvas Community When sharing resources using the Canvas Commons, after a period of time the links appear to expire and require users to login into Canvas Commons again. This doesn't appear to happen for newer links and if they are already logged into Canvas, they are taken directly to the resource in Commons. We'd…
I am trying to utilize the Commons API to retrieve a list of all of the resources that our District has in Commons. I'm using https://lor.instructure.com/api/resources?size=8000&q=DistrictName to get the list of resources and I'm getting conflicting results. The above end point appears to return the number of records that…
What does "file not available" mean when importing Canvas course export package? Seems stuck in Pre-Processing. Guessing the big upload is failing? This is Media heavy course, animation. Worked fine for a different course. Thanks, Ryan
Anytime I upload a module to the Commons, I get a message stating "There was an issue sharing your resource." Has anyone had this problem? If so, what steps do I need to take moving forward? I have already tried deleting the original module from commons and uploading it as a new module.
Good Morning! We are having trouble importing a course into CC. It's just one module, and it only contains a page - an uploaded SCORM file created with Articulate Rise. It's an OER interactive textbook. Because it has been such a bear even with several suggested fixes, I was wondering if I could just upload the SCORM to…
On Monday, I imported content from the Commons into my courses without issue. On Wednesday, the content would import, but only partially. As you can see in the first screenshot, that is the full unit I need to import, but what comes over is in the second screenshot: only text headers, pages, and some assignments. I tried…
I am aware that New Quizzes can't be shared through the Commons and this feature is set to be added this Fall 2024. My question is, will New Quizzes currently shared into the Commons need to be reuploaded once the update is made? Or will they be good to go in their original upload? Thanks in advance!
Previously, I have been able to get results when clicking to open Commons. Today, when I clicked on it, the page was blank. Are there any solutions to this issue?
New to Canvas: I have gone into Commons and selected the format that uses weekly assignments. The template gives Discussions: Week 1, Week 2, etc. Assignments: Week 1, Week 2, etc. And so on.... I want it rearranged so that is is organized with all assignments for the week: Week 1 Discussion, Assignment, Quiz, etc. Week 2…
Hello, I am a former OCPS teacher and have built many things in Canvas. Now, I am working for UCF and unable to import contents through different institution. It seems like the Commons does not work with OCPS and UCF anymore. Thank you!
