The IgniteAI Agent is an AI tool that answers your prompts and helps you manage students, communications, discussions, assignments, quizzes, extensions, and grades in Canvas.
Notes:
- The IgniteAI Agent Admin and IgniteAI Agent - Teachers feature options must be enabled in the Feature Options tab before instructors can access the agent.
- The IgniteAI Agent is currently available to admins and instructors in the US, Latin America (LATAM), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC).
- The Agent is fully tested in English. Results in other languages may vary.
Open IgniteAI Agent
On your Dashboard [1], click the IgniteAI icon [2].
View IgniteAI Agent
To interact with the IgniteAI Agent, you can either:
- Enter instructions in the Text field [1] and click the Submit button [2].
- Select or share a prompt with the Community library link [3].
- Select a pre-made prompt [4].
To start a new conversation, click the New Conversation icon [5].
To view previous conversations, click the Conversation History icon [6].
To view IgniteAI Features, click the AI Information button [7].
Close IgniteAI Agent
To close the IgniteAI Agent, click the Close icon.
Note: Closing the IgniteAI Agent will stop any running tasks.
