00:10: In Course Navigation, click the Assignments link.
00:14: Click the name of an assignment.
00:16: To submit an assignment, click the Start Assignment button.
00:20: Your instructor may limit the number of submission attempts you are allotted for an
00:24: assignment. If your assignment has a limited number of submissions, you can view
00:29: the number of submission attempts you have made and the number of submission allowed for the
00:33: assignment.
00:34: Once you have used all your submission attempts, the New Attempt button displays
00:39: as disabled.
00:41: A banner may appear above your assignment to indicate that your instructor has removed
00:46: the assignment from total grade calculations.
00:48: However, this setting does not affect assignment submissions.
00:53: Your instructor will decide what kinds of submissions are appropriate for each Assignment.
00:57: There are four submission types: upload a file, submit a text entry,
01:02: enter a website URL, or submit media. You can only select
01:06: one submission type per submission.
01:09: To submit an annotated document, click the Student Annotation tab.
01:14: To upload a file from your computer or take a photo using your webcam and
01:19: submit it as your assignment, select the File Upload tab.
01:23: To submit a text entry assignment, select the Text Entry tab.
01:27: To submit a website URL, select the Website URL tab.
01:32: To submit a media recording, select the Media tab.
01:36: When you are ready to submit your assignment, click the Submit Assignment button.
01:41: After you have submitted your work, you will see information in the Sidebar about your
01:45: submission. For file uploads, the sidebar provides a link to
01:49: your submission to download if necessary.
01:53: If you choose, you may resubmit another version of your assignment
01:56: using the New Attempt button. You can view the details of your most recent submission
02:01: in the Sidebar, but your instructor can see all of your submissions.
02:06: Once the instructor has graded your submission, the Grades link in Course
02:11: Navigation displays a grading indicator.
02:14: You can also see details about your assignment and links to additional
02:18: feedback in your Grades page.
