Session Description
LMS migrations are often framed as technical lift-and-shift projects, defined by broken links, misplaced content, and endless rounds of cleanup. But in a landscape where few new LMS platforms have emerged in recent years, and where more Continuing Education and Professional Development programs are moving from open-source environments like Moodle into Instructure’s Career platform, migration has taken on new strategic importance.
This session explores what it actually takes to migrate from Moodle to Career and how that process can be used not just to move content, but to meaningfully improve course quality, consistency, and learner experience.
