Session Description
Digital accessibility is a moral and legal imperative, yet faculty and staff often find WCAG guidelines overwhelming. Whether teaching face-to-face, blended, or fully online, all digital content must be accessible. To bridge this gap, I built a specialized Copilot Accessibility Assistant Agent—a 24/7 AI coach designed to answer questions about remediation and empower content creators.
In this session, I move beyond the AI hype to provide a transparent, "under-the-hood" look at how this agent was conceived, built, and deployed. I will demonstrate how the FSU Accessibility Assistant handles real-world scenarios. The agent was built to provide guidance, offer resources, and answer questions regarding accessibility best practices for digital content. The FSU Accessibility Assistant agent is a way to directly support a more inclusive digital campus.
