Summary
Impact admins can now segment users by TA and Designer roles in isolation.
Change Benefit
- More precise audience targeting: Admins can build segments for TA and Designer roles separately, making it easier to deliver resources to each group.
Feature Workflow
The Canvas Roles: Teacher no longer includes TA and Designer. To target TAs, create your rule as Canvas Roles [1] contains [2] ta/teachers/designer [3]. AND/OR statements [4] can be utilized to create additional groupings.

Summary
Admins can now delay when an automatic overlay guide appears to visitors, without writing custom code. This gives visitors a moment to orient themselves on a page before a guide displays, so admins can reach them at the right time and improve experience.
Change Benefit
- Timely guide delivery: Guides appear after visitors have a moment to settle into a page instead of interrupting them right away, so the message lands when it’s most relevant.
Feature Workflow
In the Visual Design Studio Activation Settings, enable the Automatically toggle [1]. To delay a guide display, select the Delay guide display checkbox [2]. Then enter the number of seconds to wait before the guide appears in the Show after field [3].
Note: A value of 0 shows the guide immediately after the visitor opens the page.

Restore or delete an archived guide:
Archived guides remain accessible at any time, with all their data. You can filter and search within the guide list on the Archive tab to find specific guides.
To view guides, click the Guides dropdown menu [1]. Then click the Guides link [2].
Click the Archive tab.
Hover over the row of the guide you'd like to update [1] and select the Restore [2] or Delete [3] icon.
Note(s):
- Delete: Permanently removes the guide. The status becomes n/a.
- Restore: Guide moves back to the guides list on the Overview and Guide alerts tabs and all related dropdown menus. The status becomes inactive (unpublished).
Archived guides in other areas of Impact
Reports, dashboard widgets, and segments that reference an archived guide continue to work, and its metrics stay included, but the guide is labeled as archived on its detail page.
Links to archived guides
Archiving a guide affects any guide, task list, or Resource Center that links to it. Any launch action linked to the archived guide will stop working. When a visitor selects it, the action won't function. If you're editing a guide in the Visual Design Studio that's set to launch an archived guide, the archived guide appears as inactive and can't be selected.
