Session Description
Neurodiversity is not a challenge to be managed; it is a perspective to be designed for. For instructional designers, creating a "low-friction" environment is the key to unlocking student potential. Join us as we move beyond basic accessibility to explore high-impact design strategies that support cognitive load, executive function, and sensory processing.
We will demonstrate how to transform standard Canvas pages into structured, multi-modal learning journeys using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) frameworks and the DesignPLUS toolkit. Attendees will leave with a "Maker’s Blueprint" for crafting predictable, engaging, and inclusive courses that empower every brain to succeed.
