Looking to recognize outstanding Canvas course design but not sure where to start? In this interactive workshop, we start by showcasing Cornell’s student-driven "Canvas Course Spotlight" and the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s multi-level "S.C.A.L.E.S. Report Card". We will share how our models work — from student nominations to attaining tiered levels of recognition — and what we’ve learned along the way. We then pivot to strategy, using program variations from other institutions to prompt discussions around critical design considerations, such as the trade-offs between student nominations and peer review.
