Impact - Canvas Environment
Impact LTI
Summary
Admins can access Impact by configuring the Impact LTI in Canvas, either from the Account Navigation menu or the stand-alone site.
For institutions that would like to require admins to access Impact only through LTI launch, please first configure the LTI following the steps in the How do I configure LTI single sign-on for Impact as an admin?, and then submit a support request to the Impact Support Team requesting the Forced LTI configuration.
Note: LTI configuration must be configured prior to the Support Team configuring the Forced LTI option.
Change Benefit
- Native Workflow: Allows admins to utilize Impact natively within current workflows.
- Flexible Access: Admins can launch through the LTI or open the stand-alone site, whichever fits setup.
Feature Workflow
For Subscription Admins to access the configuration, click the Settings icon [1]. Then, click the Single sign-on tab [2] and follow the steps outlined in the guide How do I configure LTI single sign-on for Impact as an admin? [3].

Summary
Impact admins can create guides and edit a guide directly in Impact without opening it in the app or the visual design editor. This allows for immediate updates to theming, edits to guide content, and edits to button text.

- Faster Updates: Admins can fix dates and short wording changes in Impact without opening the app.
- Simpler Editing: Theming, content, and button text are editable in one place.
Feature Workflow
To edit guide content, click the Edit in Impact link.
On the Edit Guide page, update the content as needed.
