I'm trying to get the course count of an account. The resource that I am using is
https://tamuct.test.instructure.com/api/v1/accounts/1?include[]=course_count
It's not returning a course_count field. What am I doing wrong?
Hi @steven_hill,
According to the accounts API documentation, the "get a single account" endpoint doesn't have any include parameters. If you list accounts instead, you can use the include parameter (you'll just have to go through the returned list of results to find the account you're looking for, remembering pagination may need to be taken into account if you have access to a lot of accounts). I'm not sure why the API was designed this way, but I hope this info gets you going!

That was it. I knew I was missing something. Thanks for your help!

Thanks

I looked through the LTI Variable Substitutions documentation and while there are variable substitutions available for Canvas.term.name and Canvas.term.id (which is the Canvas incremented ID like "104"), I was surprised to see there was no option for Canvas.term.sisSourceId I tried testing other possible variants that may…
