I'm seeing inconsistent behavior when viewing student Discussion Checkpoint submissions in SpeedGrader:
- Student comment (reply): When a test student submitted only a comment/reply, it did NOT appear in SpeedGrader
- Initial post: When a different test student submitted only an initial post (without completing other checkpoint requirements), it DID appear in SpeedGrader
Expected behavior: All discussion contributions, whether initial posts or comments (no matter how substantive), should be visible in SpeedGrader, regardless of whether students have completed all checkpoint requirements.
Question: Why would an initial post display in SpeedGrader while the individual comment from the other student did not? Is this the intended behavior, or should all contribution types be equally visible?
Preference: I would prefer that all contributions be visible in SpeedGrader (as is the case in the legacy SpeedGrader) and that the initial post appears at the top followed by comments each student contributes
