For the initial release, the new Learning Dashboard will include the following improvements:
- Loads up to 15x faster than the current learner dashboard
- WCAG 2.1 AA Compliance
- Mobile-friendly experience
- View-only transcript access
- Easier reordering experience for all credential types
- Improved account management to easily set backup emails and merge accounts
- More control (public and private views) over the access of each earned digital credential
- No longer need to claim credentials directly from an email link
This is a crucial first step in building toward a unified product experience across Parchment and the Canvas family, which gives users the unique opportunity to tell a holistic story of achievement. With the inclusion of Parchment Digital Badges coming in April, learners will be able to seamlessly access their traditional and micro-credentials in a single source of truth, which will allow them to demonstrate their skills more effectively, explore additional future growth opportunities, giving learners a greater chance to align their achievements to their individual academic and career goals.
