Revising our linked Just-in-time resources because we started picking up broken links for items listed in the Canvas LMS Guide prior to the Community site update.
Some links are forwarding to a new link - not a problem - Canvas has done this before and has usually done a great job maintaining a working guide after a major update.
example: the student guide for How do I view rubric results for my assignment?
- previous link: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-view-rubric-results-for-my-assignment/ta-p/533
- new link: https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/661232-how-do-i-view-rubric-results-for-my-assignment
Some links are forwarding to a new link that end in unknown. I'm worried about linking to these new links ending in unknown. Are they temporary?
example: the student guide for How do I view and sort discussion replies as a student?
- previous link: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-view-and-sort-discussion-replies-as-a-student/ta-p/465
- new link: https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/661292-unknown
Some links don't redirect to a resource and instead land you back at the general guide or to a broken link page. These links are mainly to a section of the previous Canvas Guide instead of an individual resource.
example: a link to help students see all of the resources available to them for using Discussions:
- previous link: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/tkb-p/student#Discussions
- new link: https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/canvas-lms-student-guide#Discussions
