List Admin Accounts for User

Is it possible to list the admin accounts for a user?

There is an API for listing admins for an account (see https://developerdocs.instructure.com/services/canvas/resources/admins#method.admins.index) but we want to go the other way and list which accounts a user has admin access to.

If the user has permissions to create or manage courses in an account, you can try this endpoint (manageable_account) together with masquerading:

Example:
/api/v1/course_accounts?as_user_id=USER_ID

Otherwise, you’ll need to get a list of accounts (E.g. /api/v1/accounts) and iterate through them to check whether the user has admin rights on each account.

E.g:
/api/v1/accounts/ACCOUNT_ID/admins?user_id[]=USER_ID
