Successful Kickoff!
We are thrilled with the successful kickoff of the IgniteAI Item Authoring Assistance Early Adopter Program! Your engagement and enthusiasm during Week 1 has been incredible. We've already received valuable feedback, and it's clear that the program is off to a strong start. Thank you for being such an integral part of this journey. We will continue to on-board institutions and school districts through August 18, 2025.
We Are Listening and Working On It!
Your feedback is crucial to the development of IgniteAI Item Authoring Assistance. We've been actively listening to your suggestions and are already working on incorporating improvements based on what we've heard. Here are a couple of key areas we're focusing on:
AI Nutrition Facts UX Improvement
Many of you highlighted opportunities to enhance the user experience (UX) for displaying nutrition facts. We agree! Our team is currently working on making sure the AI Nutrition Facts pop-up is more obvious.
Canvas File Support
Another significant piece of feedback was the need for Canvas file support. We understand the importance of integrating with your existing workflows, and we're excited to announce that we are actively developing support for Canvas files. This will allow you to seamlessly import and work with your Canvas course files within IgniteAI Item Authoring Assistance, further enhancing its utility for your authoring needs.
This Week's User Testing Task
Some of you have asked about other ways to test IgniteAI Item Authoring Assistance’s efficacy. I would suggest that you have the feature to write a similar quiz to one you have already written (knowing its limitations for text-based, multiple-choice questions). See if the test that the AI generated matches closely to the original quiz. Perhaps the quality was better than the original or still needs refinement. Tell us about your impressions of the tool's efficacy and how close it came to creating a similar assessment to the original!
