Description
Students indicate that they want faculty interaction through video content, but most educators only scratch the surface of what Canvas Studio can do. This session is designed for educators and instructional designers who want to unlock advanced video editing features to create dynamic and interactive multimedia learning experiences. Participants will learn basic to advanced principles of how to record and edit videos, as well as how to create custom and interesting video thumbnails, cut and trim recordings, add annotations, and access advanced editing tools within Canvas Studio. Beyond standard post-production we will also explore how to optimize our recording setups, from reducing distractions to choosing the right equipment for high-quality video production. While most faculty aren't production studios, there are many strategies and techniques that can greatly improve the quality of our videos. This session will provide practical, high-impact strategies you can apply immediately.
