Tags and posting grades

Will it be possible to select a differentiation tag when posting / hiding grades from Canvas Gradebook, as we can with sections?

For example, if work has been graded for a whole cohort, but staff wish to withhold an individuals grade whilst investigating academic malpractice.

I did some testing and see what you mean. In my test course, I posted a test assignment manually and wanted to hide grades but can only hide graded work or by section. Do you want to hide individual student assignment grades or do you want to create a tag set for a group of students and have their tag hidden?

This looks like another example where the user-dream implementation of tags would basically give us the best of the functionality of sections and the manageability of groups.

Unfortunately we don't seem to have as much of the section functionality as we would like yet. Section functionality would have been a great starting point for an initial feature list. (Announcements, grade posting, filtering, etc)
