From product-specific discussions and data deep-dives to accessibility resources and feature collaboration, there’s truly a place for everyone.
In 2025, over 346,491 Community members participated in one or more groups. That’s a powerful network of shared insight, support, and innovation!

What Are Hubs and Groups?
In the Instructure Community, Hubs and Groups are designed to help you connect with the people, products, and topics that matter most to you. Here’s a quick breakdown of the different types of spaces you’ll find:
- Product Categories – These include spaces like Canvas LMS, Canvas Studio, Mastery Connect, and Impact. Each space is consistently organized so you can easily find guides, resources, blogs, and discussions related to that specific product.
- Interest Hubs – Looking to connect with others passionate about Accessibility, AI in Education, Higher Education, K-12 or Free for Teacher? These groups bring together members around common themes, roles, or initiatives—even across different products.
- Early Adopter or Specialized User Groups – These groups bring customers together around features, roles, regions, and initiatives. Some groups are open to join, while others are invite-only spaces designed for deeper collaboration and insight sharing.

Why Should I Join a Hub or Group?
Community members love these spaces for a variety of reasons, but a few benefits come up time and time again:
- Learn from others with similar use cases, roles, or interests
- Access curated resources and conversations on the topics you care about
- Contribute feedback, ideas, and lessons learned
- Feel a deeper sense of connection within the broader Instructure Community
Once you’ve joined an Interest Hub or Feature User Group, you can:
- Start a discussion – ask a question, share an idea, or kick off a conversation
- Reply to and like other posts
- Share your own insights by publishing a blog
- Follow blog posts or stay looped in on ongoing initiatives
