Pausing Benchmark with Student Portal

My students will not finish their benchmark today and it is possible that we may not be able to continue for several days because of impending weather. I don't want the students to be able to access the benchmark from home. If I turn off the "Student Portal" switch will it save the student results?

Hello,

If students had not finished and submitted their assessment their progress will be saved even if you remove from the student portal. They will be able to go back in and complete the assessment as long as the benchmark testing window is still open. Once they are finished make sure they submit it so their scores are tabulated.
