In the Credentials LTI, admins and issuers can customize the group end date when creating or editing a group.

This update enhances user flexibility by improving control over group durations. 

Feature Workflow

Group Setup Set an End Date for Groups Options

When creating or editing a group, admins and issuers can set an end date [1] by entering the desired date or using the calendar icon [2] to select a date. Additionally, the group can be set up to sync with course dates [3].

Notes:

Section Override Dates:

• If section override dates are set, the group end date will sync with the latest end date among all sections associated with the course.
• If multiple sections have override dates, the group end date will be set to the latest end date among these sections.
• The synchronization with section override dates syncs every 24 hours to reflect any changes.

Course dates:

• If no section override dates are set, the group end date will sync with the course end date.
• If the course end date is modified, the group end date will be automatically adjusted to match the new course end date.
• The synchronization with course end dates syncs every 24 hours to reflect any changes.

Term dates:

• If no section or course override dates are set, and the course is associated with a specific term, the group end date will sync with the term end date.
• If the term end date is modified, the group end date will be automatically adjusted to match the new term end date.
• The synchronization with term end dates syncs every 24 hours to reflect any changes.
