Add standard to multiple units in a Map?

We're working on setting up our initial Maps in Mastery Connect. Some standards are assessed in multiple units. Is there a way to add a single standard to two distinct units for a course? Or is the best option to create sub-standards which represent the piece of the larger standard assessed in a given unit?

Hi BBennett,

Those are sort of two different questions. You can have a standard represented multiple times by simply adding it to the map again and then placing it in the unit you want (dropdown menu top right, add standard). You would create substandards if you wanted to assess at that level of granularity, for example specific behaviors related to a reading standard. Note there though that the student would need to  be in mastery on all the substandards to be in mastery on the overall standard.
