On my Macbook Pro, Chrome Browser embedded videos and images are not playing. The help given in the canvas pages is not helpful as the button showed there is not available on the browser

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with playing videos and loading images in Chrome. It is likely your internet browser and we recommend clearing the cache and cookies or trying another browser.
In ChromeOn your computer, open Chrome.At the top right, click the three dots Click settingsOn the left, choose Privacy and SecurityThen, clear browsing dataAt the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.Click Clear data.
If that doesn't fix it, you should try another browser to confirm it's Chrome causing the issue and not your device or network.
Solved:
Problem: I had this problem too. I had videos in the "Studio" which were embedded into the course. I would copy my course to the following year. The video would show up but not play. It wouldn't play on my teacher account or on a student account.
I tried clearing history and caches like others recommend but it did not work for me!
Solution:
Go to a video that is not playing
Click the GEAR on the bottom right of the video.
Turn COMMENTS off
Then click anywhere on the video and it should start playing! (NOTE: If you click the play button it won't play at first which is strange)
Unfortunately, the students will have to do this for every video until it is resolved.
