Do courses created via API (SIS import or regular API) generate 'course created' Canvas Live Events?

Since I don't have access to a repository of raw-formatted Canvas Live Events (only Caliper), I wonder if others can answer this question: does course creation via API (either regular API or SIS imports) generate any 'course created' Canvas live events? I have not seen anything like this in the Caliper-formatted events but wonder about raw-formatted events.

#Course_created events are in both formats and include creation by SIS, API, or copy.
