Sure thing guys! We turned in our keynote file and were told it will be available when the videos of the session are released. That will probably be more useful, since it will include the lecture. I'll post when i hear it's available! Thanks again for attending the session!

Sorry if I missed this somehow in the video, but *why* did you need to use Google Sheets to create the .CSV file instead of just saving the .CSV file from Excel or any plain text editor?

Hi John,

The reason we need to use google sheets is that the file needs Unix-style newline characters, and if you use various desktop applications it may not be encoded properly. The easiest way to do this is with google sheets, but any text editor that can produce the right encoding should work.

If you use Notepad++ (Notepad Plus Plus) as a text editor you can chose from the Encoding tab to save as ANSI, UTF-8 or UTF-8 without BOM. I would guess that one of these would be the correct format.
