In order for teachers to embrace their institution's 1:1 or BYOD initiative, an enhancement is needed for 21st century classroom management. As a teacher who has spent several years teaching in a 1:1 environment, I'd like to share how Canvas made a significant impact on how I was able to keep control of my classrooms which were filled with mobile devices. My experiences include enhancements in both direct instruction and collaborative activities.
