I've used WebCT, Moodle and Blackboard. In those LMSes I've been able to upload my course files using webdav or ftp. Can I do the same with Canvas?

I don't have experience with webdav or ftp, so I don't really know the reasons why you'd like to upload files to a course in that way. However, have you considered zipping up your files and then extracting them using the tools that Canvas provides? How do I upload ZIP files as an instructor? Or, in your File Explorer on your computer, you can select a bunch of files all at one time then drag and drop them into your "Files" area of your course. How do I upload a file to a course?
