I don't know to get a pairing code, so where do you get a pairing code?
Hey @BrandyRoss27_ ,
Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!
Are you by chance a parent trying to connect to your child's canvas account? If so, it would be best to have your child login to their Canvas Account, have them click on the 'Account' button via their global navigation bar, click 'Settings', then on the right side of the screen click 'Pair with Observer'. From there, enter that code and you should be able to successfully pair your parent account with your student's account.
However, if for some reason that button doesn't exist, that likely means your child's school's canvas admin disabled students from generating pairing codes, however by default this is enabled. I will provide a link to a guide below with more detailed information, if it helps! https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-generate-a-pairing-code-for-an-observer-as-a-student/ta-p/418

Canvas needs the same Speedgrader tools available for Canvas Discussions. Highlighting, point annotation, text comments, strikethrough, area annotations, etc. This would make instructor feedback easier.
Hi, all! My organisation is looking into using IgniteAI Grading Assistance for SpeedGrader to support assessment marking. I would like to ask users who have actually started using this feature within their organisations: What are the pros/cons of the tool? How did it change your work flow? Would you recommend it? Looking…
I've been using Canvas for at least 7 years. In that time I often use the gradebook to enter grades, while looking through speedgrader on a 2nd screen. I have a mix of Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes. When grading quizzes with essay type questions where the student has to type answers the gradebook shows a piece of paper…
