Are you referring to the partial RCE (Rich Content Editor) that is now available in the SpeedGrader? If so, this was part of a recent Canvas Deploy Notes. Check out this link for more details:

I think it's great that a partial RCE is now available in SpeedGrader. I like that I can draw attention to key points by using boldface.
I also need the comment box to go back to the smaller adjustable size.
It is an extra movement that I never had to make before (previously I could adjust the space to accommodate).
Could there be a feature added (or maybe there is something out there already) to limit not just the file EXTENSION but the file NAME as well? Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
My Canvas shell has three different sections that all meet at different times throughout the week. I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit.
