I need help making module visible. Can I text with a person to do so?
@FareedHayat ...
I hope you don't mind, but I moved your question to its own topic because where you posted didn't quite fit the other topic.
If you are an instructor, you can make the "Modules" course navigation button on the left side of your screen visible by going to your course "Settings" screen and then clicking the "Navigation" tab. Here, you'll be able to enable the "Modules" button so that it is "active". Just be sure that you save your changes at the bottom of the screen.
How do I manage Course Navigation links?
Also, once you are viewing your "Modules" index page as an instructor, you'll need to have at least one module published in your course in order for the crossed-out eye icon to go away that may appear next to the "Modules" name on the left side of your screen.
How do I publish or unpublish a module as an instructor?
If you are a student, there really isn't a way that you could make a module or the entire "Modules" index page visible. This is something that your instructor needs to do so that you and your classmates can see the course content. You would need to reach out to your instructor to let him/her know that you are having difficulties viewing one or more modules in your course via the "Modules" index page.
How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
I hope I've covered everything, but if you still have questions, please let Community members know so we can continue to help out. Thanks!
Hi, My institution is starting to use Respondus LockDown Browser. My question concerns an exam using the 'New Quizzes' engine that requires the use of LockDown Browser. Assuming that the 'early exit' feature is enabled in the LockDown Browser settings, if a student exits the exam early, will Canvas allow them to re-enter…
Hello, I am using checkpoint discussions. When I see that I have some submissions in my To Do list to grade, I click on it, go into Speedgrader, and now have to search to see which students have posted or not. It used to designate which students had posts to grade so it was easy to just go to those students. Something has…
I'm not sure that this is the right place to post about this, but I was wondering if anyone has a fix for how the scroll bar for the entire page covers the scroll bar for just a document viewed in Canvas. The scroll bar for a document will stay visible until one attempts to interact with it, at which point the bar for the…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
After using Canvas for a while, I picked up a small habit that’s saved me some last-minute stress with written submissions. Even when drafts are original, longer explanations and summaries tend to reuse common phrasing, especially in research-heavy assignments. Before submitting, I usually do a quick cleanup pass to reduce…
