I spend a lot of time commenting on Student submitted work. Could Canvas make these comments pop out to students? It is just a little tiny box next to their grade. I think the comment is more valuable than the number grade.

If you would like to make requests for enhancements to Canvas, there is a separate place to do that here on the Canvas Community website. First, I suggest that you read through the links Guides listed under the heading "Ideas and Themes" located at: Instructure Community Guide - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com). Then, when you are ready to submit your Idea, head on over to: Canvas Ideas and Themes - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com). Click on the blue "View and Submit Ideas" button. Then, on the next page click on the blue "Submit an Idea" button.
Hopefully these links will help to get you started on your Idea so that it can be considered down the road. Good luck to you!

If it's late, you simply get 50% deducted from whatever the score was. This happens regardless of whether it's 5 hours late or 5 weeks…
