In Mastery Connect, you can add sub-standards to the standards in a class tracker. You can select sub-standards from an existing list, or you can create new custom sub-standards.
Note: If the steps in this lesson do not match what is displayed in your account, you may be using the new interface. For steps using the new interface, refer to How do I add sub-standards to a tracker?.
Open Tracker
In the Mastery Trackers Home page [1], locate the tracker you want to add sub-standards to and click the name link [2].
Open Sub-Standard Window
Locate the standard that needs a sub-standard. Hover the cursor over the standard header [1], and in the menu click theSub-Standard link [2].
Select from Existing Sub-Standards
To select sub-standards from an existing list, click the Select From Existing link [1]. In the Existing Sub-Standards window, select the sub-standards you want to apply, and click the checkbox next to the sub-standard [2].
If you want to apply the selected sub-standards to all of your trackers, click the Apply Sub-Standard to All Trackers check box [4].
To add the selected sub-standards to your tracker, click the Add Standard button [4].
Note: If there are no entries in the Existing Sub-Standards box, no sub-standards are currently available for that standard. Instead, you can create a new sub-standard.
Create New Sub-Standard
In the Add Sub-Standard window, click Create New Sub-Standard link [1].
Enter the name and short and long descriptions of the standard in the test boxes [2].
If you want to apply this sub-standard to all of your trackers, click the Apply Sub-Standard To All Trackers checkbox [3].
To add the new sub-standard to all selected trackers, click the Add Standard button [4].
