This guide will show you how to change your device's language/region to a country that uses your preferred start day.
The images in this lesson are shown for a phone display, but unless otherwise noted, tablet displays mirror the same steps.
Notes:
- If your user interface differs from what is shown, the feature is not enabled at your institution. Visit How do I use the Dashboard in the Canvas app on my iOS device?for more information.
- The displayed starting day of the week corresponds to the setting found in the iOS device settings. This also applies to the Calendar feature of the app.
Open Settings
Open your device and tap the Settings icon.
Open General Settings
In the settings menu, tap the General link.
Open Language & Region Settings
Tap the Language & Region link.
Change First Day of Week Settings
In the Language & Region settings menu, tap the First Day of Week link.
Choose First Day of Week
Tap your preferred first day of the week.
Note: Canvas does not need to be restarted for the changes to reflect on the app.
