As an instructor, you can edit a page that you created. By default, only instructors can edit course pages. However, you can set a default preference for specific users to edit and contribute to the page in Course Settings.
Open Pages
In Course Navigation, click the Pages link.
Open Page
Click the title of the page you want to change.
Edit Page
Click the Edit button.
Insert External Link
To add an external link to the Rich Content Editor, click the link icon drop-down [1], then click the External Link button [2].
A prompt will appear where you will need to enter the external link [1], and the link text [2].
The name of the link will appear in the Rich Content Editor and flash yellow. Then, the name will turn red, indicating it is a link. You can hover over the name of the page to see Link Options [1], or you can remove the link [2].
Insert Media
Click the Media icon [1]. You can upload and record media files from your computer [2], from the course media [3], or from the user media [4].
Notes:
- Media will be inserted at the location of your cursor in the Rich Content Editor.
- You can also upload and embed media files from external sources or YouTube.
Edit Content
Add or edit the content using the Rich Content Editor [1] or switch to the HTML Editor [2].
To add the page to student's to-do list, click the Add to student to-do checkbox [3].
You can schedule when a page will be published. Enter a date and time in the Publish At field [4]. Your page must be unpublished to schedule a publication date.
Save Page
Click the Save button.
View Page
View the changes you made to the page.
