How do I utilize the AI Study Tools as a learner in Canvas Career?

A new tool to generate AI-powered assessments, flashcards, and summaries directly within Canvas Career. Grounded in your course materials, this AI Study Tools can reduce reliance on third-party tools and keep students learning experience within your institution's environment.

AI Study Tools replaces AI Learner Assist with a more focused, in-context experience, providing AI-generated practice activities based on the content a learner is currently viewing to help reinforce understanding in the moment.

The feature is more intuitive and actionable by clearly surfacing its purpose, helping learners review, practice, and deepen understanding directly within their learning flow.

Note: This feature is only available on pages and files.

View My Content

In the Learner access menu, click the My Content link.

View In Progress

The My content displays In Progress, Saved, and Completed items. Click the My Progress tab [1], then click the content you want to open [2].

View Page

When the page displays, click an item to open.

View AI Study Tools

When viewing content, click the AI Icon [1], then select the desired study tool [2].
