As an admin, you can design programs by grouping courses. This allows users to be enrolled in all required courses at once, ensuring they follow a clear and structured curriculum.
Add New Program
To create a new program, click the Learning Library drop-down menu [1], and select the Programs Link [2]. Then, click the Add a program button [3].
Create Linear or Non-Linear Program
A linear program follows a fixed sequence where course completion is a prerequisite for unlocking the next. A non-linear program allows for self-directed learning, giving learners freedom to choose their preferred course order. To create a linear program, select the Linear link [1]. To create a non-linear program, select the Non-Linear link [2]. Then, click the Add course button [3]. Select a course from the course tray [4], and add notes on the text field [5]. To move the order, click and drag the move icon [6]. To delete the course, click the Delete icon [7].
Note: Courses within a program can be required or optional.
Add Program Details
Click the Details tab [1]. Enter the Internal Name [2], which automatically fills in the other fields. You can manually update the Program ID [3], Display Name for Learners [4], and Description for Learners [5].
To let the learners progress during a set time frame, click the Fixed date radio button [6]. To let the learners progress at any time, select the Rolling dates radio button [7].
To view and manage the skills aligned to the new program, click the Skills link [8].
Select Published Status
To adjust the program's published state, click the publication status drop-down menu and select the appropriate status [1]. To apply the changes, click the Save button [2].
Filter Programs
You can filter programs to only show the most recent program [1] or by the name's alphabetical order [2]. You can also filter based on the program's published state [3] or progress state [4].
Duplicate or Delete Program
Click the More Options icon [1]. To duplicate a program, click the Duplicate (without learners) link [2]. To delete a program, click the Delete link [3].
Note: Programs cannot be deleted if they currently have enrolled learners or associated courses.
