As an admin, you can create courses manually or using IgniteAI. You can view and filter courses by term and instructor, and search for courses individually. You can also sort search result columns in ascending or descending order.
Open Courses
In the Admin Global Navigation, click the Learning Library drop-down [1]. Then, click the Courses link [2].
View Courses Page
When you open an account, the account defaults to the Courses page. To search for courses, enter the course name or course ID in the search bar [1]. To filter your searches, click the Filter and sort button [2]. A filter tray will display at the right side of the screen [3].
All fields are responsive to the width of the browser, which can be adjusted as needed to display course data.
Sort Courses
You can sort courses using one of the following options:
- Newest first [1]: Displays the most recently added courses at the top.
- Oldest first [2]: Displays the earliest added courses at the top.
- Course name A-Z [3]:Sorts courses alphabetically from A to Z.
- Course name Z-A [4]:Sorts courses alphabetically from Z to A.
Filter Accounts
To filter which account to view, click the All Accounts drop-down. By default, the Courses page shows courses across all the accounts. Select the account whose courses you want to view.
Filter by Published State
To filter which courses to view based on Publish state, click the All states drop-down.
- All states [1]: Displays every course regardless of its status.
- Published [2]: Shows only courses that are currently live and accessible to students.
- Unpublished [3]: Shows courses still in draft mode.
- Concluded [4]: Displays courses that have reached their end date or have been manually finished.
Filter by Progress
To filter which courses to view based on Learning progress, click the All states drop-down.
View Blueprint Courses
To filter your search to display blueprint courses, click the Blueprint button [1].
To filter blueprint courses, click the Synced to Blueprint or Not synced to Blueprint button [2].
Select Multiple Courses
To select multiple courses, click the Multo-select switch button [1]. Select your preferred courses [2]. To manage the selected courses, click the Actions button [3]. To conclude the courses, click the Conclude button [4]. to delete the courses, click the Delete button [5].
Create Course Manually
To manually add a course to the account, click the Add Course button.
To create the course, enter the Course Name [1] and Course Code [2]. To add an enrollment term, enter the term in the search field [3]. Click the Create Course button [4].
Create Course with IgniteAI
In the Course page, click the Generate course button.
IgniteAI allows you to generate a course for the account. To generate a course, click the Generate a course button [1]. Enter the details of the course you want IgniteAI to generate [2]. IgniteAI will provide several prompts to help guide the course generation process, ensuring the content aligns with your specific requirements.
View Courses
In the Courses page, each page displays in a table format but columns are responsive according to the widest column for that page.
Results display the name of the course [1] and course status [2].
View Course Status
In the Status column, icons indicate whether a course is published [1], in progress or concluded [2], or unpublished [3].
