When a badge is added or created in a group, you can change how the badge is awarded to users.
Open Progress
In Parchment Digital Badges Navigation, click the Progress link.
Open Badge
Click the name of the badge you want to update [1]. An icon in the All Badges table also indicates when a badge requirement is mismatched and requires syncing [2].
Edit Badge Requirements
Click the Edit requirements button.

To award a badge based on a criteria in your Canvas course, select the Canvas integration radio button [1].
To award a badge manually, click the Manually radio button [2]..
Select an assignment from the course [1]. Then, select the trigger type on the drop-down [2]. If needed, adjust the threshold [3]. The badge is awarded automatically when a students Canvas grade meets the configured threshold.
When the assignment and badge requirement are no longer aligned, a banner in the Parchment Badges LTI notifies the issuer that a mismatch exists and a sync is required.
Save Changes
To save your award type, click the Save changes button.
