Help!
My quizzes show up everywhere but on the home page. They are in the gradebook too. But I need to get them onto the home page.
If your current Home Page is the Modules page, then you need to add a module, and then add items to the modules, following the instructions here: How do I add course content as module items? If it is not, you can make your Home Page the Modules page using the instructions here: How do I change the Course Home Page?
Those instructions would also let you make the Home Page be the Assignments page (which includes all quizzes).
Alternatively, the Home Page can be a Page, in which you can add links to the quizzes by editing the Rich Content Editor and adding Course Links: How do I create hyperlinks to course or group content
Hi @LauraCarter1,
@Gabriel33 provided guidance for setting up "Modules" so that it is your homepage and also adding course content to individual modules.
Another option, which is described in the https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-change-the-Course-Home-Page/ta-p/1035 support article that @Gabriel33 referenced is to set the "Assignments" area of the course to be your home page. When you have graded quizzes, primarily for organizing in assignment groups, they also appear in the "Assignments" area of the course.

I am currently experiencing an issue where a student’s assignment grade appears in Moderate, but it is not populating in the Canvas gradebook. I have verified the submission is there, but the grade is still missing from the gradebook view. Is there a known fix or additional step needed to get the grade to display properly?
Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
Our "Outcomes" has not been working for about 6 months. Teachers can't build and attach Outcomes to new quizzes. Canvas said it was a rollover issue. Canvas won't fix it unless we pay them $2000 to "re-train" us for 10 hours. Has anyone had this problem and did it get fixed?
