Hello!
So my student's assignments are graded, and when you click the ungraded icon the score given appears. However, once you click away, the ungraded icon remains. Anyone have an explanation as to why?
I experienced a similar trouble. An assignment that allowed unlimited submissions, where I entered a score for the first submission but not for the second (and final) submission. It was resolved when I graded the second submission.
That is really odd. To confirm -- is this what the students are seeing, or what the teacher is seeing?
If it is the teacher -- is this in the teacher's Grade book? Or in Speedgrader? Or is this when you look at a specific student's Grade Page?
Is this happening for all assignments? Or is this just for quizzes.
Sorry -- I think maybe more information is needed to help diagnose. Maybe even a video.
Have you reached out to Canvas support? Can they replicate the issue?
So I see it in the gradebook, only on assignments I have manually graded. They In speedgrader they show they are graded. The students stated they can see their grades, but their overall grades are showing up as 0% (I have weighted grading) despite having grades.
I'm not sure that this is the right place to post about this, but I was wondering if anyone has a fix for how the scroll bar for the entire page covers the scroll bar for just a document viewed in Canvas. After using Canvas for a while, I picked up a small habit that’s saved me some last-minute stress with written submissions. Even when drafts are original, longer explanations and summaries tend to reuse common phrasing, especially in research-heavy assignments. Before submitting, I usually do a quick cleanup pass to reduce…

In Classic Quizzes, it is possible to display question-level feedback to students without manually grading an essay question on a quiz. Can this be enabled in New Quizzes? Use Case: This feature is vital for practice quizzes that include essay questions along with other question types. We mix essay questions with other…
