An easier way to have a rubric-graded question in a quiz

While I am able to attach a rubric to the whole quiz, it is not really possible to attach a rubric to the individual question. It is possible to give a rating to each criterion, but these points will not sync with the gradebook. I need to assign points for each question in the question area on the left side of the page.  Is there an easier way where the points will populate?  I need to use quizzes so it is access-code protected.

Unfortunately, this is not something available at this time. I hear they are reopening feature ideas though, so you may want to submit this as a feature idea.
