Going back Light mode (don't want Black the whole day)

Are you on a computer with this problem, or a mobile device? And are you in a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.) or a Canvas app? Some clarification on where you are and what you are using may help in finding a useful solution for you.

My best guess would be that maybe your device or browser has dark mode as the default theme, so you may need to check those settings first and make adjustments there to have it fixed in Canvas.

Thanks for responding! I am in Chrome on a laptop. My settings were default light (white background) and now they are black (pic included). Not using an app. Using Canvas from within the School website per usual. The browser itself is not in dark mode (pic included). Not sure how to change these settings besides toggling the High Contrast slider in the Settings Menu under Account.

I just turned on Invert Color and now my Canvas Pages are light (er) and everything else is black. I know this feature is probably for those with different vision characteristics, but still, it makes it a bit easier. Screenshot 2024-07-24 at 14.14.18.png

Shared Course - notification settings
A teacher shared their course with me as a resrouce. I now receive all of their messages, notifications, and To Do list. I do not want this. I only want to be able to see their course and copy assignments from it. What settings should I change to fix this?
Is LaTex added to the name and course code of a course shell accessible?

Respondus question upload needs a QTI 2.1 Option
I use Respondus 4.0 for loading questions to my pools in Bb and now that we have moved to Canvas, I want to load them to an Item Bank. However, to do this, I need to have them downloadable as a QTI 2.1 option. My options or limited. #1 I can load to a Classic Quiz which my university does not prefer, download the questions…
